Dear Patient: The reason for her unable to walk is not mentioned here. If she is bedridden for some reason, then there are chances that she might develop bed sores. Chronic tail bone problem implies that she has problem in coccyx? Or in the pereneal region? This has to be clarified. I suggest you to use water-bed or an air bed and she should take sides and turn around instead of a same position. Bedsores need to be prevented as far as possible. Maintain good hygiene as infections are common in them. Consult a good physician and follow his advise.
