R K Devi Eye Centre established at Kanpur in the year 1979 by Dr. Awadh Dubey, a leading ophthalmologist and a senior phaco emulsification surgeon. The centre has been working towards providing comprehensive quality eye care at the primary, secondary and tertiary level.

Lack of awareness, overpopulation, poverty and inadequate infrastructure has led India to have maximum number of blind in the world. Large volume at one hand and modern technology on the other at R.K. Devi, strives to maintain a balance of providing quality eye care with the state-of the art technique to all sections of the society.
