Cerebral Palsy is a condition of uncoordinated muscle movement that is commonly caused due to damage in various parts of the brain. Spastic diplegia is one of the different forms of cerebral palsy which is also called Little's disease. It is a neurological condition that usually appears in infancy or early childhood and permanently affects muscle control and coordination. The major factors that may increase the risk of cerebral palsy are:
- Premature birth
- Multiple births
- Low birth weight
- Mothers with infections
- Breech presentation
- Mothers with thyroid abnormalities
- Complicated labor

- Seizures
- Delayed growth
- Spinal abnormalities
- Learning disabilities
- Intellectual disability
- Impaired vision
- Hearing loss
- Osteoarthritis
- Contractures
