Cataract is a cloudy layer in the lens of the eye that is painless. Cataract surgery is used to treat the clouding of the normally clear lens of the eyes. It is the procedure to remove the lens and replace with the artificial lens. Cataract if left untreated for long time may result in blurry vision and increase the glare from lights. Sometimes, the cataract surgery fails to improve vision because of underlying eye damage from other conditions as glaucoma or macular degeneration.
Some of the risks of cataract surgery:-
- Infection
