Calcaneus fracture (Heal Bone) fractures are also called Lover's fracture and Don Juan fracture. It is usually caused by fall from a height or in accidents. Calcaneus fractures are categorized into intra and extra-articular fractures. Intra-articular fractures are common and involve the posterior talar articular facet of the calcaneus. Extra-articular fractures are less common and located anywhere outside the sub talar joint. The extra-articular fractures are categorized depending on the involvement of the calcaneus as Anterior (Type A), Middle (Type B) and Posterior (Type C).

- Difficulty in walking
- Inability to put weight
