Broken Neck is also known as cervical fracture. The neck injury may occur due to an accident, fall, and sudden twist to the neck or severe blow to the head or neck area can cause a cervical fracture. There are several treatments and medications depending on the severity of the injury. Cervical collar, rigid braces, traction and surgery can be some of the treatments or medications suggested.
Some of the symptoms of broken neck:
- Severe pain in the injured area
- Swelling and possible bruising
- Tenderness
- Numb feeling in arms and legs
- Muscle weakness or paralysis of the arms or legs

Consult a doctor if you have signs of injury in the fracture and which cervical bones are broken.
