Brain Cancer or brain tumor is also called intracranial neoplasm. This condition occurs due to abnormal cell growth in the brain. Tumors are two main types: malignant or cancerous and benign or non-cancerous tumors. The treatment may include the combination of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. The exact cause of brain tumor is unknown, but people with various inherited diseases as von hippel-lindau syndrome, multiple endocrine neoplasia, and neurofibromatosis type 2 are at high risk to develop brain cancers.
