Blood disorders affecting white blood cells include lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome. Blood disorders affecting platelets include thrombocytopenia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. Blood disorders affecting blood plasma include sepsis, hemophilia, hypercoagulable state, deep venous thrombosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation.
