Benzodiazepine is a medication known as anxiolytics or tranquilizers that are prescribed for psychosis. They act on central nervous system that produces sedation, muscle relaxation and lower anxiety levels. Benzodiazepines are abused commonly as they are widely available, the over dosage may create serious illness or death. The combination of benzodiazepines and alcohol can be more dangerous and even more fatal.
Some of the symptoms of benzodiazepine abuse:
- Dizzy feeling
- Confusion
- Drowsiness
- Blurred vision
- Sudden weakness
- Breathing difficulty
- Slurred speech
- Coma

Consult a doctor if you have signs of serious illness after taking benzodiazepine. The doctor may observe the severity of your condition and suggest the needed treatment.
