Benign Positional Vertigo (BPV) is one of the most common causes of vertigo. It may cause sudden sensation of spinning. BPV involves brief periods of mild or intense dizziness, it would trigger the movement of the head or lie down, turning over. BPV develops when small pieces of calcium break free and get blocked in their way to the inner ear which may cause your brain to receive confusing messages about the body's position.
Some of the symptoms of benign positional vertigo:
- Vomiting
- Blurred vision
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Loss of balance
- Lightheadedness
- Loss of balance
- Unsteadiness
