Bacterial Vaginosis or Vaginal bacteriosis is a mild infection in the vagina caused by bacteria. This is a condition that produces abnormal vaginal discharge due to unusual bacteria growth in the vagina. It may not be a serious disorder but may cause disturbing symptoms. The treatment may include oral antibiotics or vaginal gels.
Some of the symptoms of Bacterial vaginosis:
- Itching feeling
- Vaginal discharge
- Odor from vagina
- Irritation and pain
- Redness

Consult a Gynecologist if you have signs of discomfort and abnormal vaginal discharge that worries you. The doctor may suggest antibiotics and you must complete the course though you feel the condition has improved.
