Autonomic is a nerve disorder that occur with nerves damage which help in daily body functioning as blood pressure, heart rate, sweating, bowel & bladder and digestion. Autonomic Neuropathy may be caused due to abnormal protein buildup, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, nervous injury, inherited diseases and alcoholism. People having diabetes and other diseases as HIV/AIDS, Parkinson’s disease, botulism are at high risk for autonomic neuropathy.
Some of the symptoms of Autonomic Neuropathy:
- Urinary problems
- Dizziness and fainting
- Sexual problems
- Digestion problems
- Extreme sweating
- Intolerance to exercise
When should you consult a doctor?
Consult a doctor if you have signs of autonomic neuropathy. The previous medical history as diabetes and other chronic medical conditions should be mentioned.
