Aspiration Pneumonia is also called as broncho pneumonia. Aspiration pneumonia develops when a foreign material enters bronchial tree causing inflammation in lungs and bronchial tubes. This can also be called as anaerobic pneumonia. Inhaling materials as vomit, food or liquid may lead to bacterial infection. People with lung disease, seizures, stroke and dental problems are at more risk for Aspiration Pneumonia.
Some of the symptoms of Aspiration Pneumonia:
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath
- Wheezing
- Fatigue
- Changes in skin color to blue
- Bad breath
- Excess sweating
