Progressive psuedorheumatoid arthropathy (dysplasia) of childhood (PPAC or PPC) is a disorder of bones and cartilage which aggravates with time. This is a form of arthropathy that affects children. This is also called as spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia tarda with progressive arthropathy. Progressive pseudorheumatoid dysplasia is often mistaken for Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. This condition is inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern.
Some of the symptoms of Progressive pseudorheumatoid arthropathy of childhood:
- Fatigue
- Muscle weakness
- Waddling gait
- Bowed legs
- Joint stiffness
