Arthritis of fingers or Finger Arthritis occurs when cartilage in joints of fingers get damaged. The damage may be due to injury or trauma. Finger Arthritis is classified into 2 types: Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. People affected with Osteoarthritis may develop lumps or nodules around knuckles of fingers and in rheumatoid arthritis may develop deformities of fingers.
