Arm Fracture is breaking or cracking of bone in the arm. An Arm is made of three bones upper arm bone (humerus), forearm bones (radius and ulna). Injury to any of the arm bone may result in fracture, it can occur during sports or in accident.
Some of the symptoms of Arm Fracture:
- Sudden swelling and severe pain in arm
- Fractured bone visible through broken skin (in deep fractures)
- Movement of arm is restricted
- Deformity of injured arm
When should you consult a doctor?
Consult an Orthopedic if you have signs of fracture at the earliest possible. Early treatment would reduce further damage.
