Adrenogenital Disorder is commonly known as Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia is a genetic syndrome that affects adrenal glands, blocking the production of some important hormones. This would result in deficiency of cortisol, the stress fighting hormone.
Some of the symptoms of Adrenogenital Disorder:
- Enlarged clitoris
- Masculine distribution of hair in females
- Masculine muscle development in females
- Early development of prostate, pubic hair, penis, etc in boys
