Acid Peptic Diseases or peptic ulcer disease is presence of painful sores or ulcers in the lining of stomach or small intestine. Ulcers are caused due to imbalance between digestive fluids in stomach, infection with bacteria type Helicobacter pylori, excess acid production in stomach, use of painkillers.

- Burning sensation in stomach during meals or at night
- Bloating and Heartburn
- Nausea or vomiting
- Dark or black stools (in severe cases)
- Vomiting blood and acute pain (in severe cases)
