Pursued his Advanced Surgical Training in General Surgery in the UK and was awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Edinburgh
FRCSE in 1980 after having passed the required examination
He received advanced training in Plastic surgery and micro vascular surgery at Bradford under the guidance of Prof T. Barclay
Has also had formal training in Assisted Reproduction Technology from Singapore University
Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery training from Dundee, UK, under the guidance of Prof. Sir Alfred Cuschieri
