  • Phase 3 prospective trial with use of EPO in anemia management of CKD patient, with comparison of result with original brand- a double blind study.
  • A prospective study of use of antihypertensive drug in diabetic nephropathy.
  • A study of drug in reduction of hypertension and prottinuria in early diabetic nephropathy.
  • Dr. Patel was awarded by Governor of Gujarat at Cadaver Transplant Meeting in July 2008 for successfully conducting Cadaver Harvestment of kidney in Surat (Peripheral Centre) and transferring it to Ahmedabad (Institute of Organ Transplant), which was done for the first time in India.
