Dr Vasudeo Ridhorkar has completed MBBS in 1987 and postgraduation (MS) in general surgery in 1991 from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He has done DNB (General Surgery) (National Board of Examinations, New Delhi) in 1993. He has also done M.Ch (Urology) from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai in 1995 and DNB (Genitourinary Surgery) (National Board of Examinations, New Delhi) in 1996.

His areas of expertise include endourology, endoscopic stone management, laser surgery, reconstructive urology and kidney transplant.

He is the receiver of Deepak Kothari Gold Medal, Mumbai University and Mukund Shastri Gold Medal. He is a life member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Urological Society of India and Indian Society of Organ Transplantation. He is also an international member of the American Urological Association.
