Dr. T.S. Kler is an internationally recognized Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He is the founder, president of Indian Heart Rhythm Society (IHRS). He is the Executive Director (Cardiac Sciences), HOD Cardiology, Director Electrophysiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute & Research Center, New Delhi. He is honorary professor of cardiology at Banaras Hindu University. He was also a scientific adviser to various multinational companies like Boston Scientific, Medtronic & St Jude, in USA.

Dr.Kler has many initiatives to his credit; he has established the 1st Electrophysiology department in India at Fortis Escorts Heart institute & Research Center, New Delhi. He is 1st to implant an ICD in S.E. Asia, he first implanted Heart Failure Device (Bi-ventricular pacemaker) in S.E. Asia, he implanted first Combo device in S.E. Asia, he is first to perform Radio Frequency Ablation in Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.  Dr. Kler was first to implant an ICD in Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore & also started Radiofrequency Ablation programme in that institute.

Dr.Kler has performed over 10,000 coronary, renal & peripheral angioplasties. He is an expert electrophysiologist, having performed maximum number of Radio Frequency Ablations & is one of the highest implanter of ICD’s & Combo devices in the country. He has trained over 200 Cardiologists from India and other countries in advanced techniques of Angiography, Angioplasty & Electrophysiology. He has submitted over 150 articles in National and International Journals.
