Dr. Sushila Narayan

Dr. Sushila Narayan is one of the reputed doctors in Hyderabad, who  has earned the acclaim of being one of the best breast surgeons in the state of Telangana. Dr. Sushila is working as a Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Omega Hospitals, Hyderabad. She is a General Surgeon who has an experience of more than 18 years in this field. Dr. Sushila Narayan specializes in the areas of Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Oncology.  Her area of expertise as a Breast Surgeon is Surgical Oncology

Before assuming the current position, Dr. Sushila was the Resident Surgical Oncologist, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad; Registrar of Surgical Oncology, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad; Registrar – Surgical Oncology, Apollo Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad;  Senior Registrar – Surgical Oncology at the Apollo Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad;  Junior Consultant, Surgical Oncology at the Apollo Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad; Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Indo American Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Hyderabad;  Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Omega Hospitals at present.

Dr. Sushila's foray into the world of medicine commenced with her passing MBBS from the S.V.Medical College, Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi. She, then did her DNB (General Surgery) from the National Board of Examinations New Delhi. Dr. Sushila did her IBUC International Breast Ultrasound Certificate and European Accredition Certificate, University of Ferrarra Italy. She also did her Fellowship in Breast surgery and Ductoscopy , from the Northwestern University, Chicago, USA.

With a long experience in surgical Oncology behind her, Dr.Sushila is the best person to give the best care to women with breast diseases, breast cancer, and those undergoing cosmetic breast surgery. She is the only lady Breast Surgeon in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and she is also the first lady doctor in the two states  to do mammary Ductoscopy. 

She was also a part of the team, which conducted intra operative radiotherapy for Breast cancer patients for the first time in India.
