Dr. Sushil Lohiya

Dr Sushil Lohiya has completed MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur in 2004 and postgraduation (MS) in general surgery from L.T.M. Medical College, Sion, Mumbai in 2010. He has done fellowship in metabolic and bariatric surgery (laser, SAIMS, Indore under Dr Rutledge, Prof. New Orleans, USA, 2013). He has also done Upper GI laparoscopic surgery (with Dr Roy Patankar Mumbai FIAGES and FALS Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery). He has also done fellowship and training ‘Observer at Bariatric & Endocrine Surgical unit under Dr Kellogg Todd’ (Mayo Clinic, USA).
His expertise includes to prevent and treat lifestyle diseases like obesity; gastro-oesophageal reflux and constipation; laparoscopic and endocrine surgeries.
He has been the president, JCI Nagpur Medico 2015 and Hon. Secretary Association of Surgeons of Nagpur. He is a visiting clinician to Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA) for Bariatric and Endocrine Surgery.
