Dr. Sunil Malla Bujar Barua is the first qualified (MCh) Endocrine & Breast Surgeon in North-Eastern India and is based at UHS Clinic, Guwahati. He completed his MBBS from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, MS in General Surgery from Guwahati Medical College and his MCh in Endocrine Surgery from the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He underwent further training in Endoscopic and Robotic Thyroid Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea and Bangkok Police General Hospital, Thailand and in Breast Surgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore. He received the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons Travel Award at Helsinki, Finland in 2013.
