Dr. Shrikant Nimbhorkar

Dr Shrikant Nimbhorkar has completed MBBS from Shri Vasantrao Naik Govt. Medical College and Hospital – VNGMC, Yavatmal in 2003 and postgraduation MD, DPM from TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai in 2008. He is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society.
He is a consultant psychiatrist & counsellor. He is trained & certified by Bombay Drug De-addiction Centre of Excellence (K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai) for management of patients suffering from various addictions and also trained at Renowned Memory Clinic of Nair Hospital for Management of Patients Suffering from Dementia. He has received specialized training at Life Centre for Learning Disability, Mumbai for Screening and Management of Children with Learning Disability. He has conducted several drug trials, done original research and published articles, papers in various journals. He is specialized in treating – Childhood Psychological & Behavioural Problems, Mood Disorders, Sexual Disorders, Addictions, Sleep Disorders, Chronic Pain Disorders, Old Age Psychological Problems.
He has won "Young Talent Scholar Award" at National Level in 2007; "Gold Medal & Major General Jennings Award" in 2008 for highest marks obtained in postgraduate examination and "Dr A. K. Naik Best Research Paper Award" in 2008.
