Dr. Sahu completed his MBBS from Pt J N M Medical College Raipur and thereafter pursued MD (General Medicine) from Army Hospital (R&R) Delhi University. He further pursued DM (Nephrology) from IPGMER to further strengthened his existing qualifications. All these were secured with honours; a gold medal in Nephrology and multiple awards during his post-graduation and post doctorate course.

A regular speaker at multiple national forums and a privileged member of medical societies .

As a Nephrologist, he expertizes in the management of chronic kidney diseases (CKD) â€“ especially in retarding its progression, acute kidney injury (AKI), urinary tract infections (UTIâ€™s), resistant hypertension,diabetes and hypertension related kidney disease. His interest includes Dialysis including Hemodialysis & Peritoneal dialysis as well as interventional nephrology procedures such as kidney biopsy, temporary and permacath insertion. He is regularly involved in Kidney Transplant including live and cadaveric kidney transplants.

Performing a full range of preoperative workup; operative procedure and postoperative management of Kidney Transplant (Cadaveric and Live related) patients. Handling responsibilities in clinics, ICU & HDU, & emergency ward.

Dr. Sahu promotes awareness on various kidney disease about symptoms, treatment, and prevention . Besides publications, Dr. Sahu has shared specialized knowledge and valuable insights in his field of speciality through his role as an invited guest lecturer for CME programmes.

Dr. Sahu expresses empathy towards his Kidney pateints who he believes deserve the best available patient care. He therefore fosters a patient oriented approach to meet the overall objective of achieving a high degree of patient satisfaction.
