Dr. Rajiv Passey is one of the renowned interventional cardiologist in New Delhi (India). He is working as Consultant Cardiologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and work involves diagnosis and management of all cardiac patients. It entitles him to work in the cardiac Cath Lab performing diagnostic and Intervention procedures since 1995. He is routinely performing coronary angioplasty both primary and elective angioplasties along with stent implantation.  He is also involved in several Research projects in the field of Cardiology including several International Trials which have chosen him as the Principal Investigator/ Co- Investigators in various treatment modalities in Cardiology.

He has extensive experience in Adult Cardiac Catheterization and Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions including PTCA/rotational atherectomy/ directional atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, Handling acute coronary emergencies including Primary Angioplasties in patients of Acute Myocardial Infarction with and without cardiogenic shock, Percutaneous non coronary interventions including peripheral angiographies and peripheral angioplasties (including renal artery stenting and carotid artery stenting),Percutaneous balloon valvuloplasties of all valves, Percutaneous IVC filter insertions for pulmonary embolisms, Credited with a total of 20000 Coronary Angiography & Angioplasty.

He has experience of implanting Permanent Pacemakers both single & dual chamber in more than 700 patients. He has been involved in Device Placement AICD/Combo Devices and Biventricular Devices over past 8 years.
