Dr.R. Ravi Kanth

Dr. Ravi Kanth R is a board certified Bariatric and Metabolic surgeon who has worked in Vikram Hospital Bangalore and other institutes in Kerala. His basic training and surgical residency was at St Johns National Academy of Health Sciences Bangalore, and completed a 2-year fellowship in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore. He is the life member of OSSI (The Obesity Surgery Society of India) with affiliation to IFSO (The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic disorders). He previously headed the bariatric surgery department at Medical Trust Hosptial Kochi, prior to becoming the lead bariatric surgeon in Rajagiri Hospital. He has also completed fellowships in Minimal Invasive Surgery (FIAGES, FMAS). Along with his expertise in advance laparoscopy he has vast experience in surgical trauma and general surgery.
