He has started Dr.Prakash Chhajlani Clinic in Indore in 1986. He served as head of the department in Sir Aurobindo Institute Medical Sciences and practiced as a consultant at other reputed hospitals like Tata Memorial Hospital, Indore.

Dr.Prakash has organized about 12 workshops in different subjects of plastic surgery at Indore. He is a recipient of the prestigious Glaxo Award for original research in plastic surgery.
