About

Dr. Pooja Bandivadekar completed her MBBS from the government-run LTMMC, Sion Hospital in Mumbai with distinction. She then completed her Post-Graduation from the very prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India’s #1 hospital and medical college. Dr. Bandivadekar continued to work at AIIMS and trained further for 3 years in Corneal transplants, LASIK, Contact Lens and Ocular stem cell therapy along with complex pediatric and adult cataract surgery.

She supplemented her extensive education with further training from Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami (#1 Medical School for Opthalmology in USA) and Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. Alongside, she has been actively involved in organizing and delivering lectures at conferences, publishing research papers in journals of international repute, collaborating on studies funded by international organizations like WHO, organizing eye camps for economically weaker sections in urban as well as rural areas.
