Dr. Mukesh Chandra

Dr. Mukesh Chandra is one of the eminent doctors of Agra who has earned the reputation of being one of the best obstetricians and gynecologists in the area. Dr. Mukesh is at present working as the Head and Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology of FH Medical College, Tundla, UP, just 30 kms away from Agra. He is also an Honorary Medical Advisor to the Armed Forces Medical Services.

Dr. Mukesh Chandra, who has retired from the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, S N Medical College, Agra as a Professor in 2014, has done his Certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasonography from New Zealand, and Diploma in Pelviscopic Surgery from Germany. He has obtained a PhD in Obst. & Gynae and FICOG, FICMU (Bombay) & FICMCH (Calcutta). He has specialized in Assisted Reproductive Technology & In Vitro Fertilization from the University of Kiel, Germany, and Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic Surgery and Radical Gynecologic Surgery from the Tata Memorial Hospital, Bombay.

Dr. Mukesh Chandra has the rare distinction of being a Master Trainer in Contraceptive Technology Update – WHO/ JHPIEGO – John Hopkins, USA; Instructor Laparoscopic Training – Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of UP; and has been a been a Member Editorial Board, UP Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

He was awarded the Ethicon Fellowship as an outstanding gynecologist in the country. He has chaired a number of scientific sessions, has published a number of papers, and has received the Dr Krishna Mukherjee Prizes in 2000 and 2001 for the Best Research Papers. He has authored the Book on “Practical Colposcopy” and “Non Descent Vaginal Hysterectomy, which has been helpful to many students.
