Dr. Kinjal Majumdar

Dr. Kinjal S. Majumdar is a prolific surgeon who specializes in treating head and neck cancer. He did his MS in ENT from Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata. Driven by his interest in head and neck cancer, he joined Asian Institute of Oncology, Mumbai as a surgical registrar. Later he shifted to Bangalore to complete his Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology from the prestigious HCG Cancer Centre.

In his years of practice, this young and dynamic surgeon has efficiently treated patients suffering from oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal, thyroid, salivary gland and sinonasal malignancies. He is also trained in Trans-oral Laser Microsurgery for vocal cord cancer. His area of interest is voice rehabilitation of patients who underwent total laryngectomy.

He is a member of the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) West Bengal. He has multiple research publications in peer reviewed journals. His poster and podium presentations in various national and international conferences have been well received by the audiences. He has also conducted different CMEs and conferences like the 2nd Indian Cancer Congress, ICC-IFHNOS-FHNO Global CME Program and HCG Robotics Masterclass.

Dr. Majumdar believes in ‘Multi-disciplinary Tumor Board’ approach for the best outcome for his patients.
