Dr. Reddy is an Endodontist and a certified Implantologist. He graduated from the prestigious Osmania Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and went on to obtain his Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) from the same prestigious college back in 2001. He worked as the Head of the Department of Endodontics and as a PG guide at Pulla Reddy Dental College, Kurnool. He got extensive training in multiple implant systems from all over the world.

His core focus over the years has been Immediate loading of both the Single-piece and Two-piece implants, sinus, and Inferior alveolar nerve bypass, and the Zygomatic Implants. He has also worked a great deal on bone grafts and soft tissue management as a guide for PG students.

Being an endodontist by nature has enabled him to comprehend the nature, type, therapy, and healing time of the bone around implants. With his knowledge and expertise he has successfully placed over 19,000 implants till date. With the motive to spread the knowledge, he has gained over the years, he has been conducting Advanced Dental Implant Courses for Implantologists through CFAIT (Center for advanced Implant training) in India and Overseas.

Dr. K. A. Reddy has also established a charitable nonprofit organization in association with a group of doctors by the name “Mucor care foundation” to rehabilitate the people affected with the infamous debilitating fungal infection “Mucormycosis” commonly known as “Black fungus” a complication reported in people who have recovered from COVID.

He is extremely experienced in managing complex cases that other doctors fail to rehabilitate. He has managed many life-changing surgeries and replaced teeth in 3 days, particularly for people who have lost their entire upper jaw owing to covid complications. These ground-breaking surgeries took place under his leadership at the LBR Dental and Implant Center, Hyderabad.

He has been awarded a fellowship by the International Congress of Oral Implantaology (ICOI).
