Dr. Jitendra Jethani

Dr. Jitendra Jethani did his graduation from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1999 and then did his DO (2001) following which he did his MS in Ophthalmology from M&J Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Ahmedabad in 2002. He did his DNB in 2003. He did his senior residency in strabismus at RIO, Ahmedabad (2003). He did his FNB (Fellow of National Board) (2 year fellowship) in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and later joined the hospital as a Medical officer (2006). He did a short term fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from University of Wisconsin, Madison awarded by ICO (2007). He worked as an Assistant Professor at RIO for 1 ½ years. He was awarded fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Squint (2011). He was Head, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Dr.Thakorbhai. V. Patel Eye Institute from 2008-2016. He is currently Director of Baroda Children Eyecare and Squint Clinic, a state of art largest and most well equipped facility for exclusive pediatric ophthalmology in the state.
