Dr Jayesh Sardhara is a full-time Senior Consultant, Neuro & Spine Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, with 15 years of experience in minimally invasive endoscopic cranial and spine surgeries. Dr Sardhara completed his MBBS from MPSMC, Saurashtra University, Gujrat, and an MS (General Surgery), from the same institute. After completing his M.Ch. (Neurosurgery), he obtained a professorship in the Department of Neurosurgery from SGPGIMS, Lucknow and gain abundant experience in advance brain & spine surgery.
Dr Sardhara has extensive training and experience in the utilisation of minimal invasive spine surgery techniques, having been trained in some of the best spine surgery centres in the world from Japan and Seoul, South Korea. He has also done endoscopic skull base surgery course from AOTS, Tokyo center, Japan. Dr Sardhara has been trained in epilepsy surgery at the Srichitra Institute, Kerala. He is awarded frequently for his clinical and research work in craniovertebral junction spine surgery and other complex spine deformity surgery. He was awarded with “best young neurosurgeon India” award in 2016 in Mumbai.With 126 research publications, Dr Sardhara has been an editor of two books and author in writing chapters for 16 books. He is the current editor of Journal of Spinal Surgery and has a patent in his name. He is an executive member and a lifetime member of six national and international societies.
