Dr G S S Mohapatra is a senior obstetrician and a gynaecological endoscopic surgeon par excellence. He is currently working  as a DIRECTOR ENDOMETRIOSIS & ADVANCED LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY, ANKURA WOMEN & CHILDREN Hospital,, Bhubaneswar. He also has his clinic at NURTURE CLINIC, patia square. He is also working as visiting consultant for Apollo Hospitals, Bhubaneswar. He was the Ex HOD of the dept of gynaecology, AMRI hospital, bhubaneswar. He received the Times excellence health icon awards 2021 from the hands of  Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union minister of steel, petroleum and natural gas for his contribution in the field of gynaec. laparoscopy and infertility. He received the TIMES HEALTH ICONS A AWARDS from the governor of odisha, SHI GANESHI LAL and the health Minister Shri NABA KISHORE DAS IN 2018 AND 2019 for his contribution to infertility and laparoscopy. With about 20 years of expertise in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, he is a familiar name to the people of Bhubaneswar, rest of Odisha and even adjacent West Bengal. Everyday, there are numerous people who flock to him with their ailments and they are provided relief with utmost care. Having graduated from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata University, Dr Mohapatra went on to do his postgraduation in Obstetrics and gynaecology. He then did his further training in basic followed by advanced laparoscopy at World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi and Gujarat under the able guidance of Dr R K Mishra and Dr Mehul Sukhadiya respectively. He also worked as Associate Professor at Hitech Medical College, Bhubaneswar imparting knowledge and training to many students in his field. It is his idea to come up with the Dr GSS Mohapatra CENTRE FOR L. I. F. E ( LAPAROSCOPY, INFERTILITY, FIBROIDS & ENDOMETRIOSIS),  a one stop solution in the form of medical and surgical management for all leading gynaecological problems to the people of Odisha and other states.
