  • As a Senior Research Fellow with ICMR, he had done a study on the prevalence andaetiology of hearing impairment in rural and urban areas It was a pioneering collaborative survey carried outin four different centresin India, as early as 1978‐80
  • He has contributed a lot of histime in commissioning the APOI.He wasthe organizing secretary ofthe SecondNational conference of APOI in 1995 in Madras
