Dr.B.R. Asokan

Dr.B.R.Asokan, a Doctor of Medicine in Pharmacology graduated (MBBS) from the renowned Thanjavur Medical College, University of Madras, Tamilnadu and Post Graduation (MD) from Rajah Muthiah Medical College of Annamalai University working in this esteemed Instituition, AarupadaiVeedu Medical College Hospital&Research Centre,Pondicherry, since 2008.  I am a MCI(BCW, RBCW,AETCOM, ACME) and NTTC (JIPMER)  certified Pharmacology teaching faculty. My areas of interests are clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance and experimental Pharmacology and Herbal Research. I have presented paper on “Polyherbal formulations in experimental models for antiulcer activity and antihyperlipidemic activities” and published 13 papers internationally. I have attended various CME’S, training progammes, workshops and conferences National and International levels. I have flair for responsible education, medical ethics and in teaching clinical and therapeutic Pharmacology. I am a member secretary for Pharmacovigilance committee in AVMCH&RC. I am also a member in Institute animal ethical committee and Coordinator for AVMCH&RC Medical Education Unit since 2016.
