Dr. B.N. Shukla is one of the reputed doctors of Uttar Pradesh, who has earned recognition as one of the best Bariatric surgeons of the state. Dr. Shukla, who is not only a pioneer Bariatric surgeon, but also an expert, experienced, highly trained, and skilled Laparoscopic Gastro-Intestinal  and Metabolic Surgeon in Lucknow.

Dr. Shukla is currently associated with SIPS Super specialty Hospital, the Medwell Multispecialty Hospital, and the O P Choudhary Multispecialty Hospitals in Lucknow. Before taking up the present assignment, Dr. Shukla was associated with the Max Institute of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in the Max Superspecialty Hospital, New Delhi as a consultant. He regularly performs laparoscopic Bariatric surgeries such as - gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and other Laparoscopic Gastro-intestinal surgeries likes cholecystectomy, CBD surgery, and appendicectomy. Dr. Shukla's entry into the field of medicine started with his MBBS from the MLN Medical College, Allahabad. He, then, went on to do his MS from the BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, which was followed by Fellowships in Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery and Laparoscopic & Endoscopic Hernia Surgery.
