I am a Hematologist and Hemato-oncologist. I have completed by graduation and Post-graduation from Assam Medical college,Dibrugarh followed by my Hematology training from the premiere institute Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.
Hematology is a relatively newer sub-speciality of Medicine which deals with blood and lymph nodes related disorder that could be cancerous or non-cancerous. The problem may be in RBC,WBC or platelets in form of decreased counts or increased counts.
