Dr.B. Chandra Sekhar Reddy

Dr. B. Chandrasekhar Reddy is a doctor  who has earned the reputation of an experienced Consultant Neurologist. Dr. Reddy, who is proficient in Interventional procedures, is associated with a number of hospitals in Hyderabad. He is a Consultant Neurologist at the Citi Neuro Centre, Hyderabad.

Dr. Reddy has also has played a significant role as an investigator for very important clinical trials in stroke, migraine, vascular dementia and stem cell therapy.

Dr. Chandrasekhar Reddy is the Head of the Department of Neurology at Mediciti Hospitals, Hyderabad. Dr. Reddy's foray into the world of medicine began when he passed his MBBS from the Mysore University in 1995. This was followed by MD in General Medicine from the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, in 1999. He, then did his DM in Neurology from NIMS, Hyderabad, in 2003.

He also trained in the Deep Brain stimulation program for Parkinson’s disease at the Queens Land Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. He also undertook Botulinum Toxins therapy for various movement disorders at a number of institutions. He undertook training in Stem cell Therapy at St. Petersburg, in Russia; and Sleep disorder management in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Reddy performs these procedures:  Deep Brain Stimulation and Thrombolytic Therapy. He is an expert in Intravenous and Interventional procedures and in thrombolytic therapy for acute stroke. He has been involved in deep brain stimulation. He practices Botulinum toxin therapy for various movement disorders like blepharospasm, hemi facial Spasm, torticollis, Writers Cramp, and Spasticity. He practices Interventional baclofen pump treatment for spasticity.
