Dr Arya Roy, Consultant Hand and Wrist surgeon, is one of the few Orthopaedic surgeons, who counts himself fortunate to get trained under legendary Dr Sailendra Bhattacharyya in his institution BORRC, Kolkata.
He has also worked and trained under Padmashri Dr. S.P.Mandal in Delhi and Dr S Rajasabhapathy in Coimbatore.
He worked as consultant for National Football Team, All India Football Federation in 2007 and 2008 , and presently associated with Asian Football Confederation as member of their Panel doctors.
Dr Roy treats all kind of hand trauma, variety of hand/wrist problems, congenital and post traumatic deformities, including tumors.
