  • I had delivered 2800 lectures on Sex  education , Health Education , AIDS awareness, Personality Development etc. in  various places in Maharashtra and Ankaleshwar in  Gujrat and GOA , These lectures were delivered in Schools , Colleges, Youth Clubs , Mahila Mandals , Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs and industries like, Mahindra & Mahindra , CIPLA , Glaxo , IPCL etc. , at my own cost or at a minimal remuneration given by the organizations .
  • I had started a ward at my hospital for the treatment of terminally ill patients viz., AIDS patients, cancer patients, paraplegic patients. This ward was named as Shanti Avedan. So far, 30 patients were admitted for this purpose since November, 1998.
  • I organised many workshops on pre-marital counseling in Industries like Mahindra and Mahindra, Glaxo, Bombay Dyeing, Reliance and Colleges.  
  •   Presented 2 papers at National Workshop on Blood donation held at Kolkata in January 2000.
  • I presented 2 papers at 6th International Conference on AIDS in Asia and Pacific at Melbourne, Australia in 2001. Subjects: Safe Blood Transfusion and prevention of HIV transmission. Change of Lifestyle and avoiding over promotion of condoms in AIDS prevention.
  • Mumbai Mayor’s award for blood donation in 1993.
  • Received award for non – Rotary member doing work for Rotary cause in October 1995 and 1996. 
  • Awarded honorary membership of Rotary Club of Panvel in 1998-99.
  • Nominated for International Rotary Award for Humanity and Peace in 2003 but was denied because the same award was given to an Indian in the previous year.
