Dr. Ankur Mehta

Dr. Ankur Mehta is an accomplished pulmonologist with over 14 years of experience and is passionate about enhancing respiratory health and well-being. Dr. Mehta's areas of expertise include performing interventional pulmonology procedures such as bronchoscopy, bronchoscopic biopsy, thoracoscopy, and sleep studies. Moreover, he has extensive knowledge in treating allergic conditions, COPD, tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, and sleep apnea. With his experience working with some of the leading hospitals, he brings a wealth of expertise to his practice.


Dr. Mehta obtained his MBBS and MD degrees from Russia and further specialized with a DTCD Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases in 2010. He had the privilege of working with eminent chest physicians in Mumbai, where he gained invaluable experience and mentorship.


At Sterling Hospital, Vadodara, Dr. Mehta was in charge of the ICU while simultaneously establishing his private practice. This dual role allowed him to seamlessly blend clinical excellence with compassionate care, providing comprehensive services to his patients.
Contributing to the advancement of pulmonary medicine, Dr. Mehta has authored multiple papers in esteemed Indian journals and contributed a chapter to a pulmonary medicine book focusing on the treatment of hemoptysis.
