Dr. Anil Jain established the department of Urology and Kidney Transplant at Regency Hospital in 1994, and is working as Head Deptt. of Urology since then
He has set standards in all the specialities of Urology
He started upper Tract Endourology (URS, PCNL) in 1995, Kidney Transplant in Feb. 1996, Paediatric Endorulogy in 1997, Female Urology in 1999 and many more in the city of Kanpur for the first time
He is an excellent reconstructive surgeon and has repaired hundreds of Hypospadias, epispadias and Exostrophy bladders
He started the new technique of urethroplasty using Buccal mucosal graft with excellent results
He has also guided thesis of few MS students of GSVM Kanpur. Department of Urology at Regency Hospital Ltd. Is very well equipped with C-arm, fluoroscopy uroflowmetry (with transducer) and a modern state of art urodynamic machine
