Bronchitis is caused when the bronchial tubes, that carry air to the lungs are inflamed, irritated and produce mucus. There are two types of bronchitis: Acute bronchitis and Chronic bronchitis.
Acute Bronchitis does not last for long, usually caused by virus and get better in 2 or 3 weeks. Acute bronchitis is often affected after having severe cold or flu. Sometime bronchitis may be caused by bacteria.
Some of the symptoms of Acute Bronchitis:
- Continuous dry cough
- Mucus formed due to cough
- Having fever and feeling tired.

Consult a doctor when your cough is continuous and affected by fever.
