Shroff Eye Centre, Kailash Colony

The Shroffs are pioneers in the field of professional eye care in northern India and the foundation for excellence in eye care was laid by the eminent Dr. S. P. Shroff. Dr. Shroff obtained his FRCS from Edinburgh, U.K. and started ophthalmological work in Delhi. In 1926 he established “Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital” at Daryaganj, Delhi, which was the first hospital of its kind in northern India to be equipped with the best instruments and facilities available. The tradition was taken over by his son, Dr. Minoo Shroff and subsequently by his grandsons, Dr. Noshir Shroff and Dr. Cyrus Shroff, and followed by his great grandson Dr. Daraius Shroff.

Shroff Eye Centre was conceived with the vision of Dr. S.P. Shroff to provide patients with the best possible eye care while maintaining the highest levels of honesty and integrity.
