The Madras Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (MIOT) is a multi-specialty hospital located in the Manapakkam area of Chennai. It is a specialized hospital in the field of joint replacement surgeries, orthopedics and trauma. The hospital founded by Dr. P.V.A. Mohandas which was started as a hospital exclusively for orthopedics and trauma later developed into a premier multi-specialty hospital.
